Nosara is located just south of the Ostional Wildlife Refuge where guests can visit a truly special sea turtle breeding ground. This experience is life changing and sublime!

Nosara is a short drive from the Ostional, Marbella, Barrigona and Camaronal surf breaks. Surfers can avail themselves of world class instruction and have the time of their lives on everything from gentle learning waves to tubular barrels. Nosara is located in 75 miles (120km) south of Daniel Odubar Qurós International Airport in LIberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Samara and Santa Teresa are easily accesible by car for day trips.

Getting to Nosara

Direct international flights to Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport in Liberia are available from a multitude of US, Canadian and European cities. Liberia is a 2.5 hour drive to Nosara.

There is a wide variety of car rental options at the airport in Liberia. We recommend renting a four wheel drive vehicle.

There are shuttle flights from Liberia to Nosara taking 15 minutes.

Guests can also fly into San Jose International Airport. The drive time from San Jose to Nosara is about 4.5-5 hours.
